CURIOSITY, CREATIVITY AND CELEBRATION is at the heart of our educational workshop program. From raising awareness to taking action, we will explore ways we can all make an immediate difference, no matter how small.
Learners will explore the current issues that surround; climate change, Britain’s departure from the European Union, and the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. Through a series of bite sized workshops, we will examine how these factors have impacted on the well-being of our communities, our planetary health and how we can all play our part in helping us and our community be more resilient.
We will support learners in developing their understanding of circular economies, promoting citizenship and civil responsibility. We will explore ways for our young people’s voices to be heard to inspire important social change that will strengthening our society and make more resilient communities.
Our educational workshops are guided by our specialist practitioners as we venture on a journey of discovery, explore design solutions to help us grow sustainable crops in a CEA system and how growing our own fits into the wider story of creating a sustainable and resilient future.
Together, we will investigate an issue that concerns us, and after hands on activities and learning we will plan an event, activity or campaign to support our cause.
We can deliver workshops in our Green Room, our creative studio at Railway Gardens , or we can bring our mobile Farm-In-A-Box to you, so that you can access everything in our program in your own school or community setting.
We can form our schools and colleges programme to suit your subject area, timetable and study level.
